Frockabilly by Cherry Lisa is a proudly South African brand which was founded in 2011 and specializes in handmade hair accessories, brooches and clothing inspired by Pop Culture as well as the Pin-Up, Gothic and Kawaii subcultures. The name, Frockabilly, derives from Cherry Lisa’s love of dresses and skirts while paying tribute to her love of the Rockabilly era. This has given the brand the unique ability to provide something for everyone- no matter their fan base/ fandom! Cherry Lisa prides herself on the fact that her brand is all-inclusive, body-positive and LGBTQIA friendly.

Client brief

Frockabilly by Cherry Lisa was our very first customer – and the website has a very special place in our hearts. Lady Cherry Lisa needed to update her website to match her rebrand, improve her UX and optimise her online store.

Studio Snark designed a quirky and on-brand website in collaboration with Cherry Lisa. We created the perfect website layout using Cherry Lisa’s striking new brand colours and brand identity. We integrated Frockabilly by Cherry Lisa’s social media feeds into her website, and we wrote SEO optimised content for Frockabilly by Cherry Lisa.

Frockabilly by Cherry Lisa offers clothing and a range of accessories in different colours and sizes. To make order processing easier, we created quick and simple to use order forms for her customers to use.

All of Frockabilly by Cherry Lisa products and pages are SEO and mobile-optimised to ensure the website loads quickly, is easy to shop and a breeze to navigate.

Using a combination of SEO-optimisation and newsletter marketing, we have helped Cherry Lisa drive sales on her website, issue subscriber discount codes and keep track of her most loyal customers.
